Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Position Overview:
Track and maintain optic transceiver inventory. Process sales orders for customers, and occasionally help with packing for shipping.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Learn NetSuite and SmartProd Software to perform daily job duties
- Use software to process inventory purchasing, order fulfillment, adjust inventory, or recode available inventory as needed for inventory or order processing
- Run inventory reports 2-3 times a week to determine if anything needs to be purchased
- Order inventory from vendors according to hardware needs or “re-brand” as needed
- Receive Inventory into database daily, when shipments arrive
- Print and fulfill inventory sales orders, or pick and move to shipping for fulfillment
- Answer questions regarding inventory
Qualification Requirements:
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to communicate
- Ability to work at fast pace and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Organized, able to multi-task, and good with time management
- Reliable and able to work with team or with little or no supervision
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook is a plus (Can Train)
- At least 1-year data or order entry experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical Demands and Abilities:
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs
- Constant movement required, such as standing, lifting, stooping
